Planning meeting for OCGood’s launch. Now we’re getting down to the meat of the planning…. this is exciting and very promising… there are *really* cool things brewing. Please come and be part of something good, from the beginning.

Everyone is welcome! You are encouraged to invite others who are interested and who are ready to volunteer time in Dec. and Jan. — but again, please RSVP including them (or have them RSVP) so we know they’re coming.

We are planning a couple great launch events in Jan. 2010 (see the previous post), and the time has come to work out the details for those events.

Volunteers needed!

Here’s the pitch: There is this great new nonprofit group in Orange County (OCGood) which helps other local nonprofits deliver on their missions. They need help organizing and producing a big fundraising event and conference. Are you willing to chip in?

Here is a link to a document on a wiki site where we’ll manage the process of planning and gathering volunteers for specific tasks for the 1-day conference. Please visit this site and create an account for yourself — once you do, you’ll be able to edit that page… specifically, add your name to be a volunteer for tasks, and add your notes about things we need to do.

Scheduling request: let’s keep our Wed., Nov. 18th meeting 6pm for sure! I for one will be missing the camaraderie and good vibes of spending some time with you all… Please block off your schedule for 6pm-8pm that night if at all possible… we’ll announce a location closer to the event.
